Friends of Sandall Park win Queen’s Award

The Friends of Sandall Park have recieved the highest honour by being awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service this week.

The group are a fantastic asset to their local community and were awarded a small grant from Community Spaces to create an outdoor gym in the park a couple of years ago.

Fern Gore Resident’s prepare for Buckingham Palace garden party!

Fern Gore Resident’s Committee, based in Accrington, Lancashire, have succesfully been awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services. 

The group were awarded just under £50k to create a wildlife area last year through the Community Spaces programme.
