Vote Hackney for Best Heritage Project

Posted on 21st June 2009 by

The St John at Hackney Churchyard Gardens project in London, has reached the semi-finals of The National Lottery Awards 2009 in the Best Heritage Project category.

The gardens used to be a magnet for anti-social behaviour, having fallen into significant decline over a number of years. But now, it is an oasis in one of the most densely populated, built-up areas of London.
