BIG Launches Awards for All – 2009-10

The Big Lottery Fund’s Awards for All programme has now been launched for 2009-10. The programme is now solely funded and managed by the Big Lottery Fund. Awards for All will make grants of between £300 and £10,000 to voluntary and community groups, schools and health organisations as well as parish and town councils, until April 2010.

Grants from the Community Spaces programme start at £10,000 and only community groups are eligible to apply.  If you’re a parish council, school or health organisation and you’re looking for a smaller grant to improve your local area then Awards for All could be for you.

People’s Millions comes back to our screens

peoplesmill_itv2The People’s Millions TV contest returns to our TV screens and community groups across the UK are once again being invited to apply to win a slice of Lottery cash to improve their local area.

This year the contest will make 69 awards of up to £50,000 across the 14 ITV regions to community projects that will enhance local facilities or help people to enjoy their local area.
