A little helping hand…

Posted on 23rd September 2010 by

Last week, we set the Community Spaces team a challenge to produce and film a video that would help community groups with their projects.

We split the Community Spaces team into two groups and here are the end results.

Things that made us smile today :D

world smile day

It’s World Smile Day today and in the spirit of this, the Community Spaces team would like to share of some of the things that have made us smile today…

Grants Officer, Richard Jones said that an invite to the Ashmore pond project launch put a smile on his face this morning.

Grants Officer, Tom Skidmore,  has been happliy reading an application from a community group in Northampton that want to brighten up a drab concrete subway area with coloured tiles.

The PR & Information team have chuckled over a request for a Pudsey Bear outfit. (The answer is No, we don’t supply costumes in case you’re wondering)!

We’re also delighted to hear about a community group in Picton that are opening their Community Spaces-funded play area tomorrow, and are continuing fundraising for a new path to make it safer for children to walk to the playground.

What’s made YOU smile today? Please leave us your comments.
