All projects that have been fully or partially funded through the Community Spaces programme must insure their project assets, this is part of the Terms and Conditions of the grant.

Asset insurance has caused some difficulties for groups. If a project is being supported by a local authority then it is acceptable for the local authorities insurance to cover the assets. Where there is no involvement from the local authorities groups need to insure the assets independently.
